Lost Jeep???

Ok, so I ordered a new JTR in June, everything was going along great, and then I get an email from the tracking app that is on this forum, saying there is a build sheet for my Jeep. So, that is cool. I was able to pull up the build sheet and see what they were going to put on my JT. Then my Jeep disappears from the open list, and it's not on the completed list, but if I search by name or VIN, there it is. So, I call the dealer for an update, he tells me that it has been built, it's out to a body vendor??? I am assuming for the bed liner?? And should be shipped Tuesday 8/3. So, that was on Thursday 7/29. Today is the 31st, no update since 7/28, and it is still not in open or complete, but again, if I search for it it shows up... Any ideas? Oh, and starting Monday they are shut down due to the chip shortage.... I am going with "it's going to ship Tuesday" theory

If it's "at the body vendor for liner" you *likely* don't have to worry about the chip shortage, that will already be built.

I am assuming it is getting the bed liner, the dealer just said it went to a body vendor. Just want to be clear. Thanks. I hope you are right...

I too have one on the way.. I'm good friend with dealer & sales people.. said some are taking 2 weeks to get once they are invoiced. Keep Smiling
