Was driving the jeep today and all of sudden my TPMS light came on. Lost 3 of the 4 sensor. LR showed 34 and the other 3 showed a dash. Its cold. -5 here without windchill. Drove another 15 miles and my Right front came back at 35 but the other 2 were dashes when I got home to the driveway. Funny how my wife's 2024 GC lost her LR and RR TPMS sensors but my sons 2016 Canyon had no problem in the cold keeping all 4 active and my daughters 2016 Cherokee had no problem with her TPMS. as well.

I was told that the lithium ion batteries in the sensors have issues in the extreme cold with the chemical reaction in producing voltage and transmission of signal to the module in the cold weather. Will see what happens next week when we warm back up in the teens.

TPMS agitating. When I bought my used Gladiator I replaced all 4. 2 months later front left goes out. Repair shop said water intrusion. Not certain how that happened, I'm not a tire guy. I did go through some good rain and puddles but isn't that "what we do"? Fast forward, 4 months later, I'm driving along and same sensor goes out. No rain, no elements. Had to go back to the states so I'll address it on the next visit. My comments are me just venting the WTF

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago when the temps dipped into the -20s around anchorage. When it warmed slightly they reset themselves after a few miles of driving at above 30mph.

Just takes time and a short relearn.
