What‘s the lowest voltage people have seen when allowing the stop/start to do its thing? I normally turn it off via the console button. Lately I have been turning it on when I know I will be sitting at a light for an extended period of time. Was curious what the battery voltage was going to drop to as indicated in the cab. Fan on low, radio on, driving lights on and brake lights only induced load. I have seen as low as 11.9 volts after about 1:45 sitting at a light. Started right up on brake release.

That's why we have the Aux battery to run the computers and electronics during ESS events. The engine will still start at 11.9 volts, and the draw from starting will pull it even lower, but the starter is okay with that. Voltage that low upsets the electronics and can cause computer reboots and other odd behaviors.

The 11.9 you see during a stop/start event is the AUX battery voltage. When the Jeep is ready for restart, both batteries are connected together.

The 2 batteries in your Jeep are connected together almost all the time. One of the exceptions is when the batteries are separated during a stop start event.
