I'm having a similar issue. I have a Max Tow with LSD, 22 model with 45k miles. Started noticing at low speeds and turning tightly that I would hear what I describe as a "seal barking" or "yelping" sound. I changed the diff fluid with a synthetic Valvoline gear oil that said it included a friction modifier and the sound went away for a few days, but is now back. I'd be interested to know what you find out!
Well I just got my Jeep back out of the shop this morning. The rear differential was cooked… dealership put a whole new axle assembly in the Jeep. The dealership couldn’t really give me a reason for the failure. Thankfully I purchased an extended warranty when I bought the Jeep and they covered the cost.

You need to add a tube of friction modifier.....I have found the Valvoline to be the most LSD friendly, but the additive is still needed most of the time. Maybe start with half tube and add the rest if it doesn't go away in a couple of days driving.

As an aside, on my truck the early warning of a bearing failure was a hissing sound in the center console. The noise was coming up through the parking brake cable. It would change if I moved the parking brake handle slightly. New axle under warranty.
