MAX/AC is this normal?

I have noticed when i turn on MAX/AC teh ac LED turns off. There does not seem to be an apparent loss of cold air. Is this normal on the 2021 models years?

If mine is on 'Auto' the AC LED turns off. When I go back to manual control the LED turns on.

Same here. I guess the Jeep is telling you, “You know nothing, I got this.”

I’ve literally never used it. Haha. Auto does a great job, even in the hot and humid GA summers.

I have found the auto to do well when the temperature is sufficiently high or low outside, but the truck has no idea what to do when ambient is like 63-78 and I have to take over

When it’s nice like that I have the windows down. Lol

When you say the LED light goes out, does that mean the illumination lighting up the background and labels on the controls? I have never noticed that before. I do know in the auto setting, or LO or HI temperature settings the start stop is disabled.

there is an LED light on the physical AC button that tells you its on.

Yea ok thanks for clarifying. I would think they all do that with the small screen. I have not noticed any Max setting on the screen yet, but with the buttons I never look at or needed the screen. I have noticed in the Chevys I’ve had that happens, plus activating the defrost de-icer does the same.
