I believe the tires are set at about 40 psi and the ride is good.i will say manufacturer tire pressure is one thing, and real life is another. And in these the TP was bumped up. I think because it’s considering you towing. Mine is saying in the 40’s with the factory 245 and they feel like running on steel coasters.
real world road TP in low 30’s to 38. My dually sticker said 80’s and I ran at 55 to 65 since all I pulled was empty RVs and not 30k lbs.
I’ll be putting on 285 and staying with those I’d say 32 to 35 would be fine and not have the TPMS going off. I’m not towing with it no need to run it like that
as a rule of thumb (or too lazy to look) 36 for passenger veh, 60 for anything rolling with more than 4 tires and trailers 55. I can’t remember where or when I got that from. But in case you don’t have a sticker to find. Off road packed dirt and mud 15 to 25, soft sand 10 to 15.
these are one of the things of you ask 5 people 4 of them will whip out their phones and give you 18 different answers and the 5th guy will say “I remember back when ..”
needles to say I didn’t Google it. Just remember. It’s a Jeep and not a F22
