Anybody using the Maximus 3 for flat towing? I would like to see some pictures. It seems to me the "tie rod" will make it difficult to mount up the electrical connection and the break away switch.

I had the same concern, it does not make it difficult at all. I have used this setup for 3 seasons and 30k miles and really like it. The Jeep doesnt look like a toad when not attached.
I can't see where your electrical plug-in is or your break-away switch. Are they back under the bumper?

Yes sir, the electrical plug is in the plastic air deflector and the breakaway is attached to the under side of the bumper. I will look for a picture. As a point of practice i always attach the cross piece last. Easier to attach safety cables, electric and breakaway

Well I decided on the Rock Jock. Finally got it installed. The only problem was the factory bumper. It came off hard. The lower tabs on the Rock Jock prevent you from rocking the bumper to get the holes to line up, so I had to ream the holes out just a little on the end of the frame to slip it back on.
