I have 3.5 MC lift (and outboard shock mounts) bolted up and things look great so far, but the front axle droop is more than the jeep can take. Extending the breather tube is easy enough, but was hoping to not have to splice both the FAD and locker cable wires myself.

Cutting the zip ties doesn't give enough room at full droop. It's almost enough for the fad cable but there's not enough slack available for the front locker cable.

Searching the forums and the greater globe didn't turn anything up, so I think I'm stuck with the fate of wire soldering and shrink tube.

Anybody got a better idea before I finish this lift install?

Thanks!

I searched for part numbers, found the front connector and back connector are slightly different

thinking about making my own extension cables.

But all that's a moot point. Snipping zip ties is commonly stated for the FAD connector, and that was simple enough (plenty of slack). Sliding the breather tube down in its clips a couple of inches is simple enough (it appears jeep even put a couple extra clip holes at the breather cap area for exactly this).

The front axle locker cable was tougher though. There's a Christmas tree clip up on the top spring perch that really prevents that front locker cable from being long enough, so popping that and the other three clips really freed up that wire. However, up near the frame rail the harness splits into a Y (i think? it's the wheel speed sensor wire) and that Y junction prevents the cable from being long enough, so i carefully sliced the wrap and was able to move that Y junction a couple inches higher up the cable loom, then wrapped it back up in electrical tape.

Hooray, at full droop there is plenty of wiggle room for all three!
