I have a talked the Metalcloak Gamechanger lift and set the length on control arms to what they suggested for start points. I took it to my local tire shop for control arm adjustments and alignment and this is how I get it back. The front lower arms have been pulled in almost all the way(he tried saying the arms are too long for this lift which I know is not correct)as you can see one row of thread on the lower control arms and the bump stop in the coil spring looks like it’s about to hit on the passenger side. What do I need to do to get this right? You can also see the sway bar links leaning forward on both sides.

Sometimes spring bowing like that can be from misaligning the spacer at the top of the spring, it is angled and if you put it back wrong it will cause bowing...

But seeing this I think he sucked the front axle inwards too far and that is causing the springs to bow towards the rear. Looks like the front axle needs to be pushed out an inch or two. You can tell the bump stop is not at all aligned with the pad below it. It travels on an arc so it's not exactly linear but that just looks very far off.

Did he give you back the original control arms? If so put it up next to it and see how much he extended it, if at all.

Also just measure eye to eye and see what he set them to.

Yes, with that little Caster I'm surprised you didn't get DW on the way home from the shop. I'd find a new alignment shop.

I would set the CAs to the MC specs and try it, as long as both UCA are set to the same length and the LCAs are set to the same length you shouldn’t need an alignment, just either shorten the UCAs or lengthen the LCAs to get the caster you want.

I was going to get my core 4x4 lowers done this week at this shop I've been using for a while but he told me they will only install the arms at normal stock length and I'll have to get them adjusted at an alignment shop. If that's the case I'll just install the control arms myself. It's every thing else like the caster and geometry part that confuses me. I'm running a 3.5" coil and shock lift.

Do you have your alignment sheet? If so please post. If not make them provide it. Seems like your caster is going to be way off. Not sure why they would do this. Can’t imagine it’s in spec.

It wasn’t before the lift was installed. I had the Metalcloak springs on already. The axle needs to move forward but the shop didn’t know what they were doing.

Thanks for all the replies! Taking the Jeep to a better off road shop that knows more about lifts to let them fix this mess!
