Good morning All ,
I wanted to share my last experience with Metalcloak . This shows what good customer service they provide in my opinion .
Over the last two months I spoke with them about updating my suspension and what were my goals . They responded rapidly and offered good advice but also helped me decide what components were required . I must say I did not get the same experience with other brands , who simply push parts or offered poor customer response to my inquiries .
We were off to a great start and so I decided to purchase from them on February 17th I purchased suspension arms kit and some other bits from Metalcloak. They shipped within a day . FedEx was the shipping company used. Tracking the packages (there was 2) , I was supposed to receive my order on Feb. 23rd . Memphis being the shipping hub was hit by a massive snow storm on the 19th , hitting the region hard for two days and preventing the 1400 or so FedEx employees to get to work , creating a huge backlog for FedEx.
Low and behold I received the small package on Feb. 22 , one day in advance , with big box containing suspension arms still scheduled for next day .. Then the date was removed and package couldn't be tracked , it still showed being in Memphis . With snow storm and backlog I expected a delay and waited a week , calling FedEx at the end of that week , only to be reassured that the package was coming , no worries. Week two , no updates on tracking , called FedEx and again was told they were experiencing delays but that it was on the way. I contacted Metalcloak to see if they could perhaps check on their side of things since they were the shipper . .... Week Three and still no updates from FedEx , called them and got again the same answer that things were on the way so why no updates in the status ?
I reached to Metalcloak and Chris was very supportive and offered to look into it and follow up , he did . He also got told that package was not lost and was on the way . He did however offer to ship a new order and return to sender this one . Being in Canada , having already paid for brokerage and taxes , I figured I'd give it a few extra more days .. No updates or changes from FedEx , so I contacted back Chris at Metalcloak who graciously offered to ship a new order and take care of the headaches with FedEx . They shipped within a day and I received my package 2 days later . Amazing when things work as they should with FedEx
Let's just say I was very happy I dealt with a company with a solid reputation and great customer service . Communications were always promptly answered . Being in Canada , this adds a layer of complexity and choosing the right supplier is key.
Just wanted to give them a shout out from a very grateful and satisfied customer . Installing my kit next week
still -2 below zero here lol
