Howdy folks,

I just installed the fixed length MC rear sway bar end links on the JT. I had previously preemptively installed the rear sway bar reinforcement bracket too. Since the bracket pushes out where the end link meets the bracket by about 3/16 of an inch the end links don't sit perfectly perpendicular to the frame and the ground. I didn't encounter this situation with my older adjustable links and I assume this is normal but just wanted to ask.

Cheers.

Can you remove them and mount them 180 degrees off and come from the outside of the sway bar bracket?

Seems like that would put the hurt on the top bushing over time. My ocd wouldn't let me leave the, on there that way.

I reached out to Metalcloak and they said that is how it is supposed to be. He checked their Gladiators sitting in the parking lot.

I like metal cloak stuff, I have a good bit of it, but personally I would be ticked if I bought those. I was looking at them, then opted to reinforce the factory ones myself. I guess one could run a different rod end to compensate for the offset, but the factory style bushing isn't meant for that kind of misalignment.
