Metalcloak - to paint or not to paint?

[Rummie]

I have a little time before the MC 3.5" Gamechanger goes on. If you are not familiar with this kit it has a gold color due to the coating that protects it from rusting. You can paint over the surface without harm. You cannot powdercoat according to MC.

I am considering painting the gold parts black before the install. Thought it would be fun to see what you all think.

The only options I am considering are black paint and leave it as is.

I get that black is better. but honestly to paint it properly with time and effort involved
how much are you really going to see it once it installed, idk thats just me

I left the rear diff skid "gold" and plan to do the same for the front. I dunno, a good paint job takes a long time, I'd rather drive or add another functional part.

Don't paint...the gold is signature to Metal Cloak and sets your lift apart from others. Not that "street/trail cred" mean much, but to anyone that knows better, they can tell real quick if you have a nice lift vs a cheap lift when they see the gold

I didn't think I'd like it that much, especially on Billet Silver, but it has really grown on me!!
