A friend has been running this radio for a while and its been good to him so I picked one up for myself.
Its a 15 Watt GMRS MicroMobile Two Way Radio. Its got NOAA and supposedly a 50 mile no obstructions distance. This was a welcome upgrade from my handheld unit I was constantly fumbling with on trips.

The Install was pretty simple, but due to the location I chose it was really hard to get a good shot. Bascially you take off the dash under the steering wheel, youll see a black box of some sort there and you can easily place this right on top of it. I used some velcro just to make sure it didnt slide.
It seems pretty nice and works well so far. We have a large trip to Utah coming up and I think it will come in handy for that.

I am guessing you have 110 to the bed. That black box is your inverter. I still need to get my radios mounted into my rig.
