Yeah i do the same i have a couple friends that do it. This event worked out to take the kids camping at the same time lol. Its definitely a rabbit hole hobby if you have a good group.

They are Vanquish wheels, Vanquish has copy rights to KMC and method wheels. Rc4wd has some other copy rights to other brands as well.

I'm new to this so this may be a stupid question, but when you say "this event", do you wheel these RC cars? Are you wheeling with the other RC cars? Is there like a set off-road track that you follow?

Yeah you wheel the RC cars lol. If you get stuck you can not touch your car you have to be pulled out by your team or use your winch. There was 200 + RC/drivers and there is paths and gates making the course through the woods.

Are you on Facebook? Just search scx10 or rc crawler. Amazon sells all sorts of stuff for them and its just like real vehicles. Multiple manufacturers stock and aftermarket, endless amounts of configurations. You can build a class 3 comp rig or cheater and or scale rig. Like @azmojave said see you later credit card.

Went to a crawl & shine jeep event today and they the scx10s with a small rc course. Talking with them, I thought, thats not so bad. $150 for a rc rock crawler. Then someone pulled out an scx24 gladiator in dark grey, and my wife thats us, I want the big 1. Holy smokes! $600 later, I now have a grey scx24 gladiator that matches our grey gladiator. Gotta add charger and battery, and she’s already looking at new bumpers, a winch, and bigger tires.i just ordered the thing an hour ago. Smoked 4 numbers off the CC and she’s fixing to smoke 6 more off.
