Mohave Hood to Willys

I want to swap out to a Mohave hood, and was wondering if this hood is functional or is it a "look" thing for the Mohave folks? I am looking at the aftermarket vents vrs a complete hood replacement. So if its not really functional, why have it. It does look good, but I want function over looks.

Heads up, I Think you’ll need to swap out the cowl pieces rear of the hood also.

Yes, the cowl assembly will need to be part of the swap. There are a few threads on this.

Sadly, the vent on the Mojave hood is merely for looks, but it functional on the JL 392s. Could you make it functional, sure anything can be done with the know how, parts and tools.

Ah, thanks for the info, I knew it wasnt that easy! I guess I will go with one of the vent kits
