^^ This - can we get a picture of the button next to the trim around the air vent? How close of a match did you get?
Right now it is too shiny ... I just picked up a can of clear satin to knock the sheen down ... I will definitely take comparison photos after ... the tricky part with the duplicolor stuff is that it works alot like a pearl coat several light coats over a silver base (this is 2 base + 6 copper ... I was worried after the first copper coat because it was more golden yellow ... it got much better around coat 4 ... basically, I expect that this should be able to get damn close ... if it is too dark then I probably should have just done 5 coats ... I can always replay the base and restart at worst^^ This - can we get a picture of the button next to the trim around the air vent?
If this is a close match, I'll definitely be doing the same, and also figuring out how to re-paint the locker control thing on the dash
Close, but no cigar.Haven't added the clear satin coat on yet, but if I am being picky ... the metallic flecks are a little larger, the sheen is too bright and it has more depth than the factory finish ... more to come... the jeep is making me go to work (I have to bring it my money! )

I’m anxious to see where you get with your clear satin experiment as I purchased some Orange valve stem caps off of Amazon and they are a serious Orange Chrome.Right now it is too shiny ... As far as the locker controller, I was reading about masking tricks used by model builders ... it sounds like some flavor of liquid mask is the answer. Since it feels like the white portions are recessed, I was thinking to apply a mask and then squeegee/ sand it down gently ...thoughts?
