Hi
I got the following parts from a mopar 2in lift
1. Fox Steering stabilizer
2. Control arms

I have a stock Rubicon with 35s, I'm wondering whether these parts would be useful for me? I'm not planning doing a lift any time soon, would both or either be usable on my set up?

Got it, I expected as much, I was hoping at least the steering stabilizer would be useful 😅
Thank you very much for the prompt response, I appreciate it 👍

Unless yours is blown out or bent/damaged, I don't really see any reason to put that one on...it also looks a bit scuffed up.

I had that one for a brief period and noticed zero improvement. The Fox Race 2.0 ATS on the other hand...being able to adjust it definitely alters the characteristics.

Honestly, just getting it as a spare, rather than anything
The marketplace guy is throwing these for free along with another purchase I'm making from him, he sold the truck and have no use for them, but I don't wanna get it, even for free, if I can't use it.
For context, these parts have 20k kms, my truck has 72k kms

Assuming the bushings aren't shot, The control arms are a bit longer and adjust the caster a bit which does make a difference with the steering. I installed them a couple years ago. There are lots of others that have done so as well. If you search here you will find lots of threads about doing this as they are not that expensive new.

What @wcberry said. The control arms are a popular upgrade from the stock control arms, even if you aren't lifted. They add caster, which improves stability and slows down the steering a little. So, assuming they are really the Mopar 2" lift control arms, and they sell for around $40 each brand new, you might want to install them. Personally, I would not install that Fox SS unless I bent or broke mine. High pressure gas charged steering stabilizers like that aren't my favorite. I would run a low pressure SS or a through rod SS like the Fox ATS.

I agree with the others. If those are the MOPAR control arms that are 1/4" longer they are useful. I put them on my stock rubicon with 35" tires and made a huge difference with the way it handled. One of the best things I have done yet I believe. The caster changed from 4.2 degrees to 5.5.

I have a '23 JT Willys to which I added the Teraflex 1.5" spacer lift in front, 285's (33's), 2" TF shock extensions and the Mopar 2" kits' front lower control arms. The control arms dialed back in the caster and were butthead simple to install. If you can get em at the right price go for it, otherwise you can get them off Amazon.

Thank you everyone for your advice, I really appreciate it
Basically, the guy from market place has some CV axles that I want to buy as spares for a really good deal
He wants an extra 30 bucks Canadian for the lower arms and steering stabilizer.

So, if the steering stabilizer can work as a spare for my stock set up, I'll get them both

From what I am hearing here is that the stabilizer will work almost the same as stock, while the control arms will be a good addition to install immediately

Is that correct? If so, I'll get the whole bundle 👍
