Any body else having tonneau cover leak problems?
I have the Mopar hard tri fold cover on a 2021 Spot S. Leaks every time it rains. Bringing it to the dealer next week?
Any chance I can get them to just take the cover back and get a refund? Only had the Jeep for a couple weeks now.

Let me know what you hear.

My one leaks on the sides, now I never expected it to be 100% water tight, but there was more water in the bed than I expected.
I installed the cover myself.

Regardless of whatever cover you have, the bed is not water tight. There’s holes on the sides that water comes in. My Bestop soft tonneau cover is pretty good with sealing, but water still gets in my bed from these holes.

Just as an fyi, the OEM roll up cover on my JT does not leak. The tri-fold on my Ford, oem as well, leaks about the same amount shown in the pics.

Just curious if anyone has come up with a solution, besides a different cover for the leaking?
Just got my 2021 Mojave and cover leaks way more than I anticipated.

Gonna bring this old thread back to life. My new factory installed hard tonneau cover leaks a lot. My last Mojave had the factory installed soft tonneau cover and it never leaked. This one is really crappy.

Pics show water after 12hrs of light rain, Jeep was parked and tonneau closed.

How is it my Chinesium Tyger top never leaks? I didn't even buy it, it came with the truck. Drove through monsoon last week, nothing, all luggage dry.

I just took my brand new 2023 Mojave out to the desert. Opened up the tailgate and cover and everything in the bed was covered in dust and sand. Had no idea the bed wasn’t sealed up.

I have a tr-fold WeatherTech cover on the 21 Mojave. Very little leakage in rain and snow; ez on and off but a little pricey.
When traveling on dirt roads or off roading, a cover can't do much about dust in bed as most of dust is sucked up and in from below. I believe there are a few threads on this. Items I don't want to get dusty, I put in plastic lawn or trash bags.

I have experienced the same with dust on my Mopar/Jeep factory installed soft cover, but not significant or concerning water entry, there was no water entry of concern with the soft cover on my 2022 (stolen sadly).

I was out this past wknd and we had some heavy rain, no notable water entry during the drive with light rain but when parked with heavier rain water was coming in at the fold seams. The factory hard cover has some drain lines at the front, I am wondering if when parked on a slight front high angle if the water drains into the bed through the fold areas instead of draining out the front lines.

I've had several caps and bed covers, this one is by far the worst for allowing water into the truck bed. I shouldn't have to store my camping gear in the back seat when I have a $1000+ factory installed bed cover!

Would be great if I just needed to make a simple adjustment or two.. Any of you experience with positive results through simple at home adjustments to resolve this problem?

Thanks!

I bought my 21 JTR used with the Mopar hard tri fold bed cover already installed. I have never experienced a leaking bed cover till this one.

I've owned bed covers from $100 roll ups on a F250 to a $1300 BAKFlip tri fold on a GMC 1500. Non have ever leaked.

I'm about to throw this Mopar one in the trash!
