Also LT vs P.
This might be the biggest difference from what I’m reading. Didn’t fully realize how rock-hard the E rated BFGs are. Also learned that stiff tires tend to bounce more, requiring a heavier load and stiffer shocks.
At 37psi and empty, it feels like I’m dribbling a basketball down the road. At 27psi they barely bulge, and it’s acceptable. Throw in a few sand bags or hitch a 5500lb travel trailer, and it floats like a Cadillac.
Went with the higher load because of frequent towing, and how the stock Duelers looked about ready to pop once loaded (can’t find the pics right now, but at 600lb tongue weight and generator in the bed, they were frightening!).

good point, I think with jeep wranglers especially and mid size pickups the c rated are perfectly adequate for towing/payload but still provide a nice ride. I think the Duelers are not even LT so the C-rated BFGs are at least a step up from those. I did have duratrac 33's in D rated in the past and they weren't bad either.

ironically these c-rated BFG's were off of my raptor (sold) That was a full size heavy truck (although tow and payload not much higher than gladiator)

Agreed. My choice was a total overkill. I have no idea what actually needs a 3,600lb per tire rating unless you’re hauling other trucks or something! ?
This helped me adjust psi to get right load rating: https://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/on/...Size/420bcacc-01bf-42c9-840e-55344685c842.pdf

Unfortunately, Mopar lift doesn't come with adjustable track bars for front and rear. Your axle is also likely not centered. Very easy to measure. It is likely moved toward the driver side by a quarter inch. Not sure if that should make much difference but it will not feel completely OEM. IT sucks that Jeep sells the overpriced lift in this configuration.

Shop actually let me put a used set of 37x12.50 R18 8-ply tires and wheels on to try it, and they rode great! It’s the damn 10-ply BFGs that make it ride like a dump truck. (Nittos, kind of badass. Now I want 37s! ?)

I agree, that the track bar is needed, but its not a must. I just installed the lift and it is hardly noticeable with stock track bar. Rear doesn't need it.

As far as the ride goes, I am running Fox 2.0 shocks (not the ones that come with the kit), and really like the ride. Running 35x12.5x17 Nitto tires that are heavy.

UPDATE: BFG is awesome! They just got back to me about tire complaints and granted me a 60-day satisfaction guarantee, a case number, and phone number for the dealer to call if they give me any trouble.
Stated that if I don’t like their tires for any reason, they’ll credit the dealer for any other tire of equal or lesser value up to 6 tires!

Have to thank someone on Ebay for that advice. Tried to sell my "school bus" Load E tires, and a suspicious bidder asked "Something fishy here: why don't you just call BFG if you don't like 'em?"
I was like, "Wow!! Thanks troll!" {%endAuction%}>

@JeepCares , any suggestions? Who do I talk to for a test ride and tell me if something is wrong? Dealer?
Sorry for the delay here, RiverMtnBeach. You are correct, the dealership will be in the best position to assist you with a ride along.

Thank you so much! I did that. Also swapped wheels at the shop to compare, and everyone agreed the ride/handling issues were definitely caused by the tires.
Contacted BFG for their Satisfaction Replacement Guarantee, and they agreed that Load E rated tires are best suited for a heavier vehicle - such as an F250 or Silverado HD. Recommendation was to swap them for a slightly different size tire that came in a Load C, 6-ply rated version (315/70 R17 113) which just happens to be the tire they developed for the Ford Raptor because of ride harshness complaints.
New tires are mounted, and it's much better now! Very close to stock ride/handling, and no more getting "bounced" into the next lane over uneven pavement. Load E tires are just way too stiff for this truck, that's all.

So what lift is better for $1250 if the Mopar lift is overpriced?

I think it is pretty good for the money, wish it had adjustable or longer front track bar (they could have easily added $100 to price and threw that in) I don’t think you need a rear trackbar change or at least I didn’t
