I impulsively pulled the trigger and. Bought the lift kit. Well not exactly impulsively I researched the heck out of it. Still am hence regrets. What I am seeing is that the kit is too stiff shock wise the control arms seem pretty flimsy. And no adjustable trac bar. Whic I was prepared to add. So I am thinking of not having the dealer install it. My goal is. What full kits are out there that are <2000 and complete. And 2.5 inches or less. I do not want to replace the front drive shaft or drill holes etc

So this kit. Ideally would be. 2 to 2.5 inches. Have single rate springs. Reasonably soft or adjustable shocks. Not a cheap alternative Contain front and rear adjustable trac bars and. Adjustable lower control arms.?

I have to say Iā€™m very pleased with my Mopar kit also, Iā€™ve got nearly 10,000 miles on it and now with a camper. Tried a rougher brand and was very disappointed, tossed it in the recycle bin.

@wanderer consider the Metalcloak 3.5 dual rate or Clayton 2.5. Be advised the Clayton 2.5 will sit slightly higher especially in the rear compared to MC 3.5. The mopar 2ā€ lift is almost identical in height as a MC 3.5, as my neighbor has a mopar lift with his 37ā€™s.

If your shocks extend over 30ā€, you will need a driveshaft. The MC rock sports are equivalent to 4.5- 6ā€ lift fox shocks.

JL Life makes accurate judgements. What did he say about the Mopar lift?

Basically over sprung under damped very rough ride. Thin walled control arms. He cut them in half. Showed a .09 wall thickness. And dented. Arms. Pretty disappointed

BFG ko2 37 12.5 17. Putting them
On the stock wheels
My goal is to fit 37s with minimal lift and changes to driveability keep a pretty low height run 37s
I ran. Bfgs ko2 on my jlur in the 315 70 17 with noLift handled every thing I needed
Som pretty rocky trails too
Gonna put my winch a super winch exp 10k back on it. So I am concerned about dusl rate springs with too soft initial rate. Becoming collapsed ( the initial soft wind)
