Yep, the front axle will be toward the driver side, and the rear axle will be toward the passenger side, the higher the lift. At 1" its not a big deal, but at 2.5" or so, the vehicle is crab walking a little and exerting lateral forces on everything. Yes, if the correct fixed length track bar is available, you don't need an adjustable one, but there are so many factors that an adjustable one makes sense- get it right for your truck and lock it in.
Maybe I'm just not noticing much because I have Rubicons and they already have some lift and possibly a longer track bar then the sport. Maybe it's more pronounced in the sport type trims.

In any case, I'm still left with my dilemma of which lift. Definitely going with 37's, as before, and 4.88's. Rather buy once cry once.

I think that's exactly right- the stock track bar is set to meet the lighter Sport and the heavier/taller Rubi just fine. It's only when you add a bunch of weight or a bunch of lift that the geometry gets out of whack.

Here is a before/after of mine: also a JTR with the MOPAR lift. Even though it's a rubi, the stock track bar allowed the axle to poke about 3/4" to the driver's side. I couldn't really "feel" it when driving, but my OCD got the best of me

have the springs been able to support your rack/tent and extra weight enough?
Yes. Although soon after I added airbags. Not because of the tent/rack, but because I was helping my dad tow the tractor every now and then. But, I didn't have an issue before the airbags.
