Has anyone gone so far as to totally re-paint their Mopar tonneau? I got mine new from the dealer, and the paint is seriously degrading and flaking off in quite a few places (presumably where the hardware touches it when it's folded up).

I was pondering just grabbing some blue masking tape and hitting the painted parts with some Rustoleum truck bed coating, but I was just curious if anyone had found a more elegant, less drastic solution.

id love to pick one of these up at some point on the cheap. So this is pretty common though?

It has been with mine, but I can't say I've seen anyone else saying the same. Of course, at the end of the day, it's exposed to the elements and isn't coated with anything special that would protect it from scrapes or gouges from metal/plastic hardware. I suppose this is bound to happen, it's just kind of annoying and unsightly.

No issues with mine, 1.5 years old. The JT is garaged when not being used to commute in the DC area.
