Having enough parts on hand is the most likely culprit.... simple supply and demand... investing in parts (especially painted tops and fenders, specialized bumpers, and contracting out work like spray in bedliners) is speculation until they see the market demand. Having prepainted tops and fenders, bumper, etc... is costly and if that particular color doen't sell well, they invested lots of money sitting in stock and likely have to be stripped and repainted (more cost). Seems like they now they are playing catch up with what the demand is.... it certainly explains the color roll out schedule... I think Granite caught them off guard..... Imagine what would have happened if they offered a Plywood option!I mean, at this point, it’s all conjecture. I’m sure they have enough parts that they wouldn’t slow down, and if they don’t have enough parts, we’ll then, I’d be more concerned about them going bankrupt then the tariffs that aren’t coming.
