Hey guys new to MUD tires. I’ve noticed when taking off in first or in reverse there is a rumble strip feeling. It goes away after getting to speed. Is there something off? Or is this just the lugs of the tire at low speed?

That's normal. It's the lugs of the tire. Think of walking on pavement with cleats

I have the Eldorado Extreme Mud Claws. They rumble at slow speeds. I can almost feel each lug hitting the pavement sometimes.

Yea they are on 17 inch race lines with a -12 offset. I didn’t think they where rubbing against anything but I was thrown off from the vibration at take offs and backing up

The tires also flat spot after sitting over night. Takes a few miles for them to go round again.

Do you have 35s? I’m trying to see what to set the size for with my JScan.

Measured height or from the ground to center x2 I always had a hell of a time with the 285s I had. It actually shifts nice at stock sport s settings but could be 4 mph off at highway

I measured. But ended up using a Garmin GPS to compare speed and distance,

Are you still running them?

No. They only lasted about 17,000 miles. Great tire, just short lived.

Switched to the Kenda MT's. Loving these so far. Over 20,000 miles them. And are wearing great for a MT.

I'm leaning towards Kenda as well.
