I've now seen more Mavericks (2) and Santa Cruz (1) in the wild than than I've seen Bronco (2).

Southeast/central NH.
Seen my first Santa Cruz today in passing with my wife pointing it out and saying "what is that ugly thing?". Had to agree, in person it is goofy looking.

I spotted this one at my office a couple weeks back. It looks much better up close and in person.

I’ve had a 2 door Badlands (Rubicon Version) on order since July 2020.
I finally gave up because it’s a shit show right now.
The hard top is a disaster which is why you are only seeing 4door soft tops, dealers are marking them up $5-10k, after a reserved one comes in, where the customer thought they had at least fixed MSRP. The front steering tie rods are snapping on the SAS models because the whole system is just not beefy enough. The 2.7l engines are dropping valves, coolant lines rub and then crack, off-road the electronic GOAT modes are failing.

As far as the competition goes, trust me the Bronco hate on jeeps is way worse than the other way. I’ve been on the main bronco forum for a long time and the fan boys there are ridiculous

In July I bought a 2004 TJ Rubicon, which I rock crawl with, and the JT I should pick any day now (it’s at the dealer) will be my Tow rig for the TJ and Overlander.

I started seeing a decent amount of them the past few months. Every single one has been a soft top.

I understand why. I wonder when they’ll finally have the hard tops available again.

There were also two Launch Editions, five TRX’s, a Gt-500, GT 350, three brand new Mach 1’s, a Challenger Hellcat, and a few Gladiators. It was car nirvana!

Yesterday after seeing the Purple Jeep Gladiator. Had a Bronco Sasquatch Package pull up next to me at the light on my way home. First time I have seen one up close and in person so to speak. I am assuming it was on perhaps 37" tires as it sat much higher than my JT on the stock Rubi take off tires and rims with not lift. Nice looking vehicle but perhaps its just me that thing looked friggin huge. I put my window down and shot him a thumbs up on the unit. He looked at me and then just turned his head back forward ignoring me and then eventually drove off. I had all the doors and top off, etc so perhaps he was just jealous (LOL).
My wife has a Bronco, and just an FYI, their doors and top come off just as easy as ours. Probably just dealing with a dick.

I thought the Sasquatch’s looked the best, and they looked pretty good with the hard top. I wouldn’t mind one alongside my Mojave.

Yup same here, all soft tops that I’ve seen.

I've started to see quite a few around here in the DFW area. I think they're pretty cool vehicles. They get a lot of hate from Jeep groups like this, but competition brings improvements, so I'm happy to see a Wrangler/Gladiator competitor.
They axed any pickup variant. The only competition to the Gladiator is via crossover from the Wrangler base. There's probably a few things Jeep will add in response but I dont know it will be game changing. The Jeep is a different vehicle underneath.

Wow. There’s a hard top in there. I thought they still had a stop sale on them due to the ridiculous issues they’ve had with them.

I'm sure the Bronco is very capable and their prospective buyers were researched. But to me, Ford totally missed it in that they don't resemble the early Broncos at all. Much like when they brought out that Thunderbird a few years ago. It just had NONE of the look and brought none of the excitement of the early TBirds like this Bronco has NOTHING of the early Bronco.
