After Bronco Badlands..Back to my 4th Gladiator!

Hello to all! I had always wanted a 6G Bronco so in January I traded in my 2023 Max Tow Sport S on a Cactus Gray Badlands Sasquatch 4 door. So yes, I jumped ship. To those that are interested it had the 2.7 and I really liked it. On the road it definitely was easier to live with. Off road on the trails that I frequent I was really happy with it with the exception of rear wheel travel sucked. I 3 wheeled a bunch.

There is a reason that I have owned three Gladiator's. They fit my lifestyle and I truly think that they are tougher. The salesman side that I was the first person that he knew that had taken a Bronco off road! I did miss the Gladiator though.

Oddly, my wife hated the Gladiator! She said the Gladiator was more comfortable! So, when I found this Rubicon with some upgrades at Ford Dealership I was able to trade. So I am back!

My pops had a gobi Mojave and traded it in once his Bronco order came in, he regrets it frequently for various reasons. He doesn’t off-road much mabey 3 times a year and he swears the glady had better ride quality on and off-road. His is a badlands Sasquatch as well and he got all the bells and whistles. The only thing I like about his Bronco and he agrees is the sound of the exhaust once you get on it. I wish the gladiator had that deep throaty rumble his has.

Great looking rig! Welcome back! I was looking at a Bronco before I got my Gladiator. I just can't get past the EcoBoost engines. I've had bad luck with them.

Well, my son has a Bronco with everything on it short of the Raptor. I like the vehicle but found the storage lacking compared to my Gladiator. It does seem faster than my Jeep and it's a tad wider in the interior. In 2020 I paid a little more than 1/2 of what my son paid for his Bronco. He paid MSRP two years ago and was happy that he didn't have to pay a "market adjustment" fee. On my end, my hydro blue paint and tan interior Sport S is a great combo. I really enjoy the manual tranny and having a truck bed. I think my Jeep rides better and has a much less complex suspension and drive train. Since my "off road" work is limited to beach driving, I really don't need locking diffs. and disconnecting sway bars. My wife thought the Bronco was "OK" but not for the asking price. Jeeps have a ton of accessories available at competitive prices and the new vehicle take-off stuff is always popping up at deep discounts. My Gladiator has been trouble-free once they fixed the auto start stop. So, I'm still happily Jeeping down the highway!

Worse: we had a Honda Passport as an around the town vehicle and I would peruse the Passport boards. There are Passport owners who compare their rides to Jeeps. Yes this person exists...

I had a 23 Badlands that I traded in on my first Gladiator before I got my Diesel. I actually liked the Bronco. At the time all the aftermarket parts were crazy expensive for it and I missed my truck bed. When my wife needed a new car I tried to get her to get a Bronco but she didn't want one and wouldn't even test drive one. I took mine out to Hidden Falls adventure park and Wolf Caves here in TX.

I too liked the Bronco. I really liked the performance as it wasn't lacking in torque with the 2.7 Ecoboost.

The biggest drawback that I found was on large rocks and off camber stuff I 3 wheeled alot. Their BLDS socks compared to a Wrangler or Gladiator.

This is the one that I have now. It is the 4th that I have owned. There is something about a Gladiator...I keep coming back !
