My rear window defrost thingy came off

Took off the hard top and my *this thingy* came off. Looks like it was soldered on originally. I've never successfully repaired one of these, anyone have a good fix?

One of the Large body shops in my area advised that they use a bonding product in repairs.. Candidly I would give it a try for the price, cannot hurt; much less costly than replace the entire rear back glass.

My wife’s JLU had this happen and the dealership fixed it for free. It happened again after that and they replaced her whole rear window. They were reluctant to eat that cost but it was a warranty issue. Hope that helps.

Atom adhesives electrically conductive epoxy. Just make sure you clean both surfaces with alcohol before applying. I used it on my wife’s JL last year. So far so good.
