I have a 2021 JTR with 3.6 engine and 35” tires with a RSI Smartcap. I am thinking about getting a RSI Drop Rack and a 270 awning (OVS LT 270 awning?).
Has anyone put a OVS LT 270 awning on their RSI Smartcap? What does the group think about this rack? This awning?

Sorry, not a terrible amount of help but I have the Foxwing 270 awning and use it on a bed cap (ARE CX HD)

Beyond the specifics of the brand’s you mentioned it’s a great setup in general. I love the height and coverage it provides and I’m thinking of getting a ground tent setup to interface for a larger living area footprint.

No photos open for some reason…

If you want something a little more form-fitting and lower overall height /profile, the Alu-cab and Quick-Pitch RTT's and Awnings mount together as one unit.

Could be worth checking out :)

I decided on the RSI Droprack. I purchased the Droprack from Highlift Offroad and had them install it. They did a great job installing it. I still have not decided on an awning. The OVS 270 and The Bush Company 270 are my top contenders. The Bush Company awning is probably what I’m leaning towards currently (the sole US distributor only has the awnings Instock and are saying that the optional side walls will not be available for a couple months). I want to buy awning and walls together. I had a RTT and never used it ( I do not have use of my right hand/arm and only limited use of right leg), hard to climb in and out of RTT.

I’m 6’4” and 225# so I’m not really interested in a low awning or anything that requires more then 1.5 legs and 1 arm to set up or Stowe away.
