Doing a late night install (I’m up because I work 12 hour night shifts and it takes me awhile to transition back to days). I’m trying to wire an auxiliary light wiring harness directly to my Voswitch JL 300. I’m stumped because the wiring harness for the aftermarket lights has a switch and relay which I don’t need. How do I eliminate this? I’ve included a picture for reference.

Cut off the harness and wire your lights directly to the aux controller.

If you want to use the harness because it is wrapped just cut the wires to remove the relay and splice the wires.

The white wire is just for the harness switch so you don't need it or the switch if you aren't using the harness relay.

Nilites makes a harness that I have used which is similar. I don't need the switch or relay, but it is nice to have the wires already with ends on them and the wires cleanly wrapped together. It is better to just wire it yourself and not use the harness, but sometimes we just don't have the time.

For clarification, each cube light runs a red and a black wire to the relay so in effect, there are 2 red wires and 2 black wires left if I cut them at the relay. Do I wrap the 2 red wires together as one and the 2 black wires as one and then single red gets connected to the Voswitch and single black gets grounded?
