Edit- found my entire rear window is leaking. Unsure at this point if related to below, so part two is can they fix a rear window leak without replacing the entire hard top or am i about to lose my @Hothead Headliners kit?

Edit 2- dealer was fine. Said they were aware and a glass specialist comes through once a week to assess and replace. Got me right on the list for the next one. I wont look for the leak any further until this window is replaced, since it could be going anywhere from there. Water flows...weirdly...sometimes.

Curious if anyone has found similar. Ive got a leak that puddles right at the B pillar behind the driver seat, but i cant find where the point of intrusion is. I pulled the plastics to the B and C pillars, and it looks like it is coming down the inside of the plastics at the rear seat/c pillar based on where i can find traces of water.

-all Hot Heads soft panels feel dry to touch
-no evidence of water on seats
-no evidence of water flowing down inside of B pillar
-carpet under armorlite floor is dry, so its not from underneath

Right now the only guess i have is water flowing down rear door jam and crossing over the seal at the door hinge and flowing to the inside of the plastics but i cant replicate it with a hose yet.

Open to ideas/suggestions. Thanks!

Set up appointment for glass replacement of the rear window with the dealer. Well “theyll look at it” but since i just have a faucet back there from the hose.....

Not going to try and track down anything else until thats fixed. With that amount of water coming in, who knows where all its flowing.

Have you seen all the horror stories on the forum related to rear window replacement? A lot of people report damage to their hard tops and shoddy work by the dealer or contracted glass company.

I know safeflight glass is a big chain but I stand behind them, they invest in the most tools and training for their staff, and since they have a national reputation they do a lot to make things right if there happens to be an issue.
A lot of dealers hire glass work out to the lowest price contractor.

If I was going out of pocket for a broken window, Id pay safelite for all those reasons.

In this case, the issue is a design defect with either the seals or the window or both, and the dealer needs to fix it. I dont know exactly what rhe issue is with rhese rear windows, or if a simple new piece of sliding glass would fix it.

@Armorlite_Kail or others-

Have we definitively pinned down what causes the leak at the rear? Is it glass or seals or both? Would a safelite replacement solve it?

They have the ability to troubleshoot and should be able to tell you if they can fix it or not.

Ok. Im going to give the dealet a shot. They have a regional fca glass tech handling this and theve been good for me up to now. If they cant sort it ill call safelite.
