Current set up is Mopar 2” kit with 1.5” front TF spacer. TF alpine IR lca’s, synergy trac bar with 37” km3 (measure 35.25”)

Stopped by my brothers shop to flex with tow motor, and was a bit disappointed.
at full flex with plenty of room in the front, tire was 19” off the ground with rear hitting bump stop.
Maybe that’s not bad for this kit? Idk, don’t have anything to compare it to?
Looks to me a lot is left and the rear bump stops are too long? One thing I forgot to check was how compressed the rear shock was.
On the front, I had a good 3+” left before hitting the bump stop.
Thoughts on what needs to be done to maximize, or do I just leave it be? I do not wheel hard, but obviously would like to have max potential if need be.

one other thing, i did not have sway bar disconnected, but didn’t think that would matter since I was already hitting the rear bump stop?

Hey there! I went through a lot of work understanding flex in the JT. Sharing some of what I learned/found here I hope it helps you or someone here.

TL;DR: Your issue likely one or combination of: too much spacer installed, shocks don't have the longest extension, rear swaybar/stock components reducing flex. That rear tire should "stuff" more into the fender.

In my rigs case there is like 1/4", maybe less, space between tire and fender when stuffed. I have somewhere in range of 3"-4" uptravel in my back measured between the bottom strike pad and top bump stop. I ALSO REMOVED MY REAR SWAYBAR. Wanna make sure you got that. Doing so the rear flexes a lot. Here is what a mild obstacle looks like when flexing:

A guess is the Fox shocks in your Mopar kit are limiting flex. Look them up and what the total extension is. This link should take you to the listing of Fox 2.0s which is what I believe that kit comes with. My set in the rear extend to 30.620" which is like THE MOST I would want. You can see in the video above my lines have just a little give left at full extension. MIND YOU I have some upgrades that allow me to have those shocks that extend that long. In your case you'd probably end up having some not minor issues if you tried shocks with that much extension.

I ended up going with Teraflex for most of my suspension. They explain a lot of flex issues really well in their videos for the "extended travel system" they use in the JT suspension packages. It was obvious to me they spent a lot of time on the engineering of their kits to address all concerns.

The gist is the rear setup should be able to extend quite a lot more than stock allows. There are a few issues Teraflex (and maybe others) is addressing: pinion angle (fixed with spacers), swaybar links dragging (fixed with aftermarket swaybar), length of abs, breather and brake lines (extensions and longer lines), control arm geometry (corrected using brackets), springs falling out (really nice retainers) and parking brake line extenders. You can slap this kit into any other kit you go with Mopar or otherwise. Long as you have shocks that can extend you'll be flexing quite a bit.

What can you do if you want more flex? I think you could go with the extended travel system kit Teraflex offers and maybe some longer extension Fox shocks? Probably cheaper than other options. Just make sure for the front shocks you don't exceed 28.65" of extended past that is where the front driveline will start binding up.

Oh also should mention if I had the Rubicon fenders, per Teraflex install instructions I'd have used like 1" less of spacers each corner. I'd still expect that I would be able to stuff it but I'd be slightly worried about those lines as they were already pretty close to maxed out.
