Ok.. so I have to ask the weird question here.. I've been pricing the new Bilstein Mopar lift, and the install time, according to 3 dealerships now, is 4-4.5 hours.. vs the 2.5-3 for the FOX.
(this doesn't include the alignment, which is separate)
Does that sound right to anyone? As far as I knew, the new kit only has the extra reservoirs, which I can't imagine adds another 1.5-2 hours the installs. (at $175/hr)
I tend to trust my primary dealership, but have started questioning them, especially since they've openly admitted, with the economy being crap and the strike, they're REALLY hurting for business. You'd think that'd actually convince them to lower their hourly rate, but what do I know about business..
(and before anyone asks.. wanting the Bilstein, because the wife doesn't like the way the Rubicon Fox tends to roll a bit on back country roads, and apparently the 5160s are a little stiffer in those scenarios.. *shrug*)
