I like the USB cable idea. I found this one that may work great. I will let everyone know my findings.
https://amzn.to/4xBg6nK. I like the idea of this one because it has a slim 90-degree connection; maybe the "media door" will still close. I have seen posts removing that door, but I would like to keep it if possible.
I’m testing out a set of cables now. They’re a bit more pricey than that but they’re way beefier than any others I’ve seen. I’ll have a thread out here in a week or so on them.

Thank you for that info. I will let you know what I find out. I just got them yesterday.
I installed the Quadratech grab handles today https://amzn.to/4uODX0I. The instructions show how to install them with an airbag. I am fairly confident I have the correct ones; it's up to you to do your own research.

I am waiting for Prime Day to try the other ones in this post. I will update with my findings.

I got the Michelin Truck Tailgate Protector from Amazon: https://amzn.to/4eGwCeZ
It fits very well,

and I am quite happy with it. I wish I had gotten the bed liner from them.

The bed mat is a heavy-duty rubber mat from Amazon. It's quite nice, but it's too good. It's difficult to slide things on it; it has too much grip. But if that is what you are looking for, it's the perfect mat for you. Here is the link: https://amzn.to/4eGAUS5
I will say it still smells like rubber after a couple of weeks.

This is a pic of my “go to“ items for trail riding when it’s just me and the dogs (99% of the time)…in the camo bag, two 20’ straps and my Pullpal. Apex 5500 mounted on a draw tight 2” receiver hitch, and my Lug All come along.

I like the idea of a portable winch. That makes me think of getting a bumper with a receiver in the front. Then I can have the winch either in the front or the back.

Sorry, forgot to mention, a snatch block as well is always in the bag.
