This comes with bit of a back story. My lug wrench had the end chopped of by the previous owner, not sure why. I put a breaker bar and socket in with my jack ( rather have that for roadside anyway). My anti theft lug nuts have a smaller size socket than my regular lugs so I wanted some place to store the key and the additional socket. So I 3D printed this. I keep it stored under the seat next to the jack. I have a Bambu X1C Printer
I bought the organizer tray thing for my from Amazon. I feel dumb now after I stubbled upon the console having a secret storage area in the lid. I went out side yesterday to get something from my console and i opened the lid and was wondering what happened to my stuff when I ended up just opening up the compartment in the lid instead of the console itself
We like these so much, have one in the JT and JL. The Amazon ones are about all the same although I prefer the ones that have a removable rubber-like liner in the bottom that reduces rattles/vibrations.
We have a similar one….but we never actually ‘stuck’ it in place. The sticky foam pads are still covered with plastic. I can pull it out anytime.
| 2x8 that slips into the slots just in front of the tailgate to keep small items from sliding to the front of the bed when applying the brakes. I added a short 2x12 to keep stuff going side to side, too. BTW, it's 57-1/4 in. long with a 1/2 to 1 in. cut on each bottom corner at a 45° angle to accommodate the curve in the bed floor.
