I have these from Oracle and I've been impressed with the quality. Super sharp looking with the switchback turn signal. Really easy to install with the included turn signal harness, plug and play. It taps into the DRL system so you can turn the halo on and off. 3.5 years and always have worked perfectly so I would highly recommend checking these out. They seem pretty similar to the Diode Dynamics Elites, those look pretty nice too

I've been really happy with the Diode Dynamics Elite series lights. Both the headlights and the fogs. I also came from factory Halogens, and chose the Diode Dynamics over the OEM LEDs for a few reasons......the ability to easily have amber DRLs, the built in off-road light could be wired to one of the existing aux switches, and honestly they just looked better made when comparing them side by side. The actual light output between the OEM LEDs on our JL and the JT with the DD Elites isn't even comparable. It's just a much better experience on the Gladiator.

Edit: I'll just add that the addition of the DD Elite fogs we're probably the best addition for actual lateral visiblity where I normally drive. They are essentially ditch lights with a clean defined cutoff.

Which one seemed to throw out the most light between the two? Seems the older I get the harder it is trying to see at night. I live where there's lots of deer at night and I'm constantly crawling around different places because I can't see that far out with the halogens.
Honestly I think they are about equal. I like my DD elite more for the fact that they have the integrated turn signals. But Oracle makes some with the turn signals integrated as well. My brother has the Oracles in one vehicle and the heated in the other. Both work great and the heated ones help with the Wisconsin winters.

I purchased 7” Rigid Industries heated lens ( I live in Michigan) for my 2016 Willys Wrangler. I removed them to put in my 2021 Gladiator with an adapter ring. Still
going strong, still like them.

So are there any advantages of using 7 inch over the 9? I see a lot of people talking about using them but I haven't really looked at them. Didn't know if they were generally cheaper or brighter.

I used them because I had them(removed from 2016 prior to sale). The 7” to 9” (JT size headlamp) adapter
I bought from Qaudratech? makes fitment easy and imperceptible. Personally I don’t need/want halos , I want DOT certified, brighter lights with heating elements (Michigan winters) , but other people may have needs/wants that differ from mine.
These lights required a wiring harness adapter also I believe, made them plug and play. They are still working 8 years later.

Sounds good. I really couldn't care less about the halos. If I settle on a set that have them, I'll hook em up. I'm more interested in great light output so I can see where I'm going.

Hey all. My 23 Mojave came with halogen headlights and I'm ready to swap to led. I can get oem for around 900$ or the diode dynamics elite series for about 800$. I know everyone seems to like the oem but I've seen nothing but good things for the dd as well and with an 8 year warranty, I was wondering if anyone had any real world experience with them before I pull the trigger on a set of one or the other. Also, as far as the oem go, I assume they would be plug and play as well and use the jscan app to make the correction for the leds?
Go with the DD’s, everybody loves DD “headlights” too.

Regarding how often height adjustment is needed, if you tow it can be quite often due to hitch weight. With the stock halogen headlights I give them a half turn when I hook up, and undo the half turn when I drop the trailer. With the LED fogs I just aim them a bit too low so they aren't too high when I hook up the trailer.

In general another option for halogen headlights is to keep them for snow, and add LED driving lights relayed off the high beams.

I have the DD in my 23 Gladiator and they are good. Pretty annoying to set up initially because of the adjustment, but once set I haven’t touched them. But, I bought the rough country ones for the wife’s 22 JLU and they are better than the DD. And half the price. And I can adjust them still mounted. I am tempted to sell my DD ones and get another set of the rough country ones. I was so excited to put my DD ones in my gladiator and when I got the chance to try them out in the dark, I was a little disappointed I paid so much compared to hers.
Don’t get me wrong. They are leaps and bounds better than halogen. But for half the price and better light output, the RC ones get my vote.

Hello everyone. I have the $800 DD LED Elite headlights on my 2023 Mojave, it came new with halogen headlights and fogs of course and wasn’t liking them. On black Friday DD had a sale and it dropped them to well under $700. You may want to give them a call to see if they’re planning that again this year. The LED’s have been great so far, have a sharper cut off line than my wife’s factory LED’s on her JLUR and a bit brighter as well. When I got these, there didn’t seem to be too many 9” diameter LED’s for the JL/JT platform. Truck Lites and JW Speaker only had 7” LED with a bezel you had to buy and add to the mix. I’m not saying that’s a bad way to go, but not what I was looking for. I have the DD LED fogs and side markers too and they’ve been great as well. The back-up/brake light for your 2” hitch receiver adds a good amount of light when you’re backing up in the dark, but I would recommend a hitch lock with it or someone could just pull it out and go. I am looking for recommendations on LED fender DRL/turn signals if anybody has any suggestions.

I love my DD elite max’s. I bought them when they first launched while in the process of waiting a year and a half for the OEM led’s on back order. Haven’t looked back since. 10/10!
