I‘m in the same boat. I would like to utilize the Freedom Panels more, but the interior is too nice for an unexpected shower. Plus, this is a lake vehicle, and the majority of the time the bed is full of lake toys. Neat product.

I could use the Truck Buddies for when I go dirt biking and overlanding to hold my gear in place since the factory tie points are limited and few.

I already have a Bestop Sunrider, so the EZ Fliptop wouldn't make sense for me, plus I'm not a fan of drilling/making permanent mods to the only hard roof I have. Plus having the inside of the Freedom panels exposed to the UV from the sun will kill them faster with consistent use since their made from fiberglass. Using them intelligently shouldn't be an issue, but I personally would have them flipped open more than closed.

I've been interested in the Fliptop option. My hesitation has been when they are open and riding down the highway, will my roof liner pieces that are just basically velcro'd on to the freedom panels fly away? I had one just fall down on my passenger when barely riding down the road. So, I can only imagine the wind would whip that away quickly. Is there a better material for securing those panel liners so they don't blow away?

I do have the roof lift crane you sell. Which has worked great!

I really like the idea of the EZ Flip Top. We travel all over the country in our RV pulling the Gladiator. The Best top was ok, but I would much rather have the original freedom panels in place. I just traded the pictured Gladiator for a new Mojave edition and am looking at top options. We haul a lot on our trips and the Truck Buddiez would be great!

The EZ Flip Top looks like a great solution. I had a Sunrider but just couldn’t get it to seat correctly and had constant road and wind noise. Had to go back to freedom panels. This looks like the best of both worlds!

T-Tops were cool in the eighties until my roommates friend pulled the latch at 70 mph. And then there was one. They have the same issues now with having to store them when they aren't on the truck. The flip top looks good as a solution. The truck buddies look like a good idea as well but 8 along the tailgate might be a little overkill... although it is a Jeep after all.

Great point. Interested in EZ's response.

These would be great for the mountain adventures. My friend has the power top on his jeep and it’s pretty slick. These would provide a similar level of convenience for putting the lid back on :)

we travel a lot with the JT and the flip top would come in handy as there isn’t always a spot to store the freedom panels. The truck buddies look like a good way of securing all the items in the bed my wife always buys when we travel.

Love seeing innovation specifically for the Gladiator crowd

I’m running a modified Sport S Max Tow that sees a mix of daily driving and trail time. The FlipTop honestly solves one of my biggest annoyances — I love running open air, but I don’t always want to pull over and wrestle with the freedom panels or leave them behind when weather is unpredictable. Being able to flip them back from inside the cab would make spontaneous open-air driving way more practical.

The Truck Buddiez are slick too. I’m constantly strapping down bikes, kayaks, gear, and random Home Depot runs, and having quick, movable tie-down points along the tailgate would be super useful. The working load is impressive for something that installs in seconds.

Both products feel like they were designed by people who actually own and use their trucks.

Appreciate you supporting the forum community!

I love the idea of those Flip Tops, would make it easier to open up the top and let the fresh air in for sure. No need to worry about where you store your panels and if the weather changes real quick and easy to cover back up.

And the Truck Buddiez looks really useful and handy when filling the cargo bed. Tie down are always handy and these make it so simple!

Great ideas, both of them.
