The system sits on a rail that runs the full length of the bed.Interesting. How do they attach?
This system has that. We will post pics soon.Looks cool. But a rear locking gate/hatch would be tight tight tight.
Nice. I assume the VRS users will get left out with the other things customers have been asking for? This system has that. We will post pics soon.
We incorporated everything that our customers have asked for into this new system.
These racks will be available in heights ranging from 9" to 26" tall, and you can order in 1/2" increments.Very nice...I like the use of the 8020 or whatever it is...Nice brackets!
Any potential for a half height system?
I like the inset for the cases, could see a half height turn at least one of those down 90 degrees (thinking Milwaukee packouts) or something like that.
Cost?
Do you not include washers in the kit? That little non flanged nut barely biting into that aluminum slot is going to wollar it's self out on the first 30 miles of a dirt road. The system sits on a rail that runs the full length of the bed.
The rail helps distribute the load along the length of the bed, rather than creating pressure points. It also allows for a full length rack. The rail has little brackets that can attach to the JT with or without the Trail Rail option.
This system is also tonneau compatible.

We include stainless steel flat washers in the kit, that was just a photo from a dry fitment test.Do you not include washers in the kit? That little non flanged nut barely biting into that aluminum slot is going to wollar it's self out on the first 30 miles of a dirt road.
Sorry if I am being picky but I see this kind of stuff in kits all the time, and for the 5 dollars extra in washers or better hardware you are doing your customers a disservice.
That has not been decided yet.Sorry KB. Don't mean to pester - but will the the rear hatch system that is incorporated into this racks system be backwards compatible for VRS users?
I'm close to pulling the trigger on a topper to replace my VRS rack - but if his is possible I'm keeping the VRS rack....
Any chance you can share what this rear hatch looks like on this system? That has not been decided yet.
