Very new to the Jeep life still and just installed some new LEDs. They were really easy plug and play, but they're doing the dreaded flickering. Through my research, it seems like the ECU settings need to be changed using a Tazer or JScan for people that had the same issues.

I've looked into Tazers, and they are pretty pricey for only wanting to do a couple of things. I just need to change the light settings, and eventually I plan on changing my tire size. That's truly the only things I can think of wanting to mess with...so I feel like Jscan might be the most practical and cost effective move for me. With that being said, can anyone link me to the exact pieces I need to get it going? The dongle and module? I have no idea what to look for. Much appreciated!

I have both. Honestly, I believe you've made the best choice (jscan) for just changing settings. The tazer kind of makes that obnoxious with the marrying and unmarrying routine for dealership visits and especially for dealership software updates. With JScan, just set it and forget it. I'm thinking about trying alfaobd too, though, just too see if there are more options.

Where the tazer shines is with live features.

Yeah I kind of sifted through the live features of the Tazer, but it's just stuff that don't really seem necessary to me at the moment. Plus that 300$ price tag is a little too steep just to change a couple of settings lol. Thanks for your advice!

Yes, it says “for offroad use only” (not that care)
I’m almost ready to shut mine off. My two rear sensors work when they want to…

They say that because of U.S. federal law and EU laws.
It keeps jscan out of trouble. Any business that causes it to not function can face hefty fines or bw sued in case of accident.
