Nice ride, looks familiar :)

Auto headlights would be awesome, not sure what else is needed other than the switch. Tried asking around and all I got was "why would you want that". I would be interested to know how to get this done.

I think the daylight sensor and possibly wiring to it, some are wired for it even if they don't have it.

And turning it on in the computer with a tazer or similar.

I understand, it’s just that I’m not sure if anyone has done that before and I’m trying to no reinvent the wheel if I can.

So, are the 2025 Nighthawks part of the 2000 total they promoted as the limited edition originally in 2024?

All my cars have auto headlights. I wonder how much work would be involved doing this. Have you found anything ?

I got the same Nighthawk as OP. I absolutely love it, even though it was like going back to stone age from my "smart" car with 3x MPG :)
What I love:
1. This is a Jeep...even tough just a Sport with a few upgrades, but still very capable
2. This is like an adult LEGO - mods are endless!
3. It's a city slicker edition of the rough Jeep we all love and want...I live in the city and you still can't get me out of this thing!
4. Aux wiring! So nice to have this readily available!
Wish List:
1. Like many have mentioned - proximity door openers (can be done for about $1k from Car Toys)
2. LED lights! We are not in the 90's anymore! Just put them in already!
3. Better plastic! Grille clips are flaky even if you just pry them straight out. Metal clips come out, and they fracture, so be careful. Also other plastic around headlights and bulb clips is VERY BAD.

Mods I already did: I went a bit too Amazon'ish
1. Door Sill Guards - protect those steps! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CMQ77D2G?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
2. LED lights - pretty decent, but you can hear the fan motors on the headlights. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D4HRMDW8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
3. Keyhole covers. Look good and protect against rust. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CN6CCLHQ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
4. Running boards. Better and lighter than rock guards, and contours new body curve. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DFWLT782?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
5. Storage bin. Must-have for little things! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WTVBQG1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
6. Grille lights .These are amazing. Wired to Aux 4. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D9NG4B8M?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
7. Mud flaps. No more rooster tail on the side of the jeep. these don't fit snug, and neither ddid the Rough Country ones. I still made it work. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081CF7DKM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
8. Grab handles. Super nive, but I always question if the air bags will work on the sides with these on. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CLFVCNTR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
9. Screen Protector. For the Summer days with top and doors off. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CL83MLC8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
10. Hood Wind Deflector. So good! no more wind noise and less bugs. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DQVWRWM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
11. Console organizer. This is a nice addition, but not necessary. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RXRZKJG?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
12. Front door pockets. Get rid of he nets! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DBVKWFPN?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
13. Roof insulation. Best purchase ever! Cabin is super quiet and better insulated! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082Q8FXLD?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
14. Dash speakers. OEM ones are crappy with no tweeters. these are clear and the sound is much better. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B8T66KB?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
15. Grab bar tray. Handy the the wife and her phone. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CMPZH8VR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
16. Overhead Sound Bar. I hated the OEM seakers, but this is almost an overkill. SO LOUD! https://www.amazon.com/DS18-JL24-SBAR22-BKLD-Overhead-Digital/dp/B0DHHGMZTS/ref=sr_1_8?crid=338KYDC4JCBN3&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.X-ypX5Dels795l_J9iGccg4WzggSgLP2nhjW-nY6Llo8LCLz3KXiYPsXQTNd1pGPAKfWAEsr0XMeufNKtERmCcv9ylfRUMZxUl_cUVrTelb9WCNYc3l7RmgRCYdtLSvQoNm9LVzXQ57sjzlwEVdsYaFijP4gAhSXHBlPXUXm5Cf92I38mnrmHXSg51QBK1eWMIos-OtXfTHdIf85peORh9RCx2nf1v2mOPD1XtWrl64.c7NDSlPsieP0lyc-p24BkuCbt7e8EthbBuieoVHabYg&dib_tag=se&keywords=ds18+jeep+gladiator+sound+bar&qid=1738190354&sprefix=ds18+jeep+gladiator+sound+ba,aps,159&sr=8-8
17. Tri fold tonneau cover. Keeps the runk clean and locked. Love it!
18. Summer tube doors. Can't wait to try them out. https://www.extremeterrain.com/jeep-gladiator-tubular-matrix-doors-mirrors-jjltd006.html

I joined the forum so I could check in with my new 2025 NightHawk in Mojito Green. I just picked it up a week ago (3/27) and so far I love it. The first thing I learned, coming from daily driving a 2008 Wrangler, is that Jeep people seem to disrespect it. They're pretty elitist about giving Gladiators a Jeep wave, so when I'm in the Gladiator I've learned not to even bother (unless I see another Gladiator). Before buying this I've been daily driving a 2008 2-door Wrangler, but was looking for a mid-size truck to add to the "fleet" to replace my old 2008 Nissan Titan. After tons of research I realized the Gladiator fits all my needs for a truck PLUS caters to my love of driving with the top off my JK. When I saw one in my favorite color with black wheels sitting on the lot, it was love at first sight.

I noticed no one ever really answered whether the 2025 models are included in that 2000 "limited edition" number or not. The new color option was what pulled me in, but I was sold as soon as I test drove it. For it to be a limited edition option (that apparently had an entire marketing campaign a year ago that took over The Weather Channel's website for a day), it's disappointing that it doesn't include any badging to show off what it is. Googling for one is what brought me to this thread, so I hope someone designs a decal AND is willing to share the template for others to recreate it. We need an official logo!

Nice Gladiator!

Don’t worry about the perceived disrespect and unreturned waves. You do you. 😎

I purchased a 2025 nighthawk 3 months ago. Love it. Just installed automatic headlights . It took 10 mins . It was the easiest thing I've ever done. Your nighthawk is already wired for a lot of things. You don't have a sun sensor but you are already wired for it.

What was the cost for parts? How do you remove the switch?

I've noticed more and more doing the Jeep wave as I approach. 3 out of 5 Wranglers I saw today on my way back from town did the wave.
Maybe Iowans are finally figuring it out.

Use plastic pry tools only not to scratch the plastic. Pop out the sun sensor cap and pull in the correct sun sensor.(see photo) . Every nighthawk should be wired for it. Then pop out the headlight switch cover then the head light switch assembly. Plug in the new headlight switch and pop it in. Everything is held in by plastic no screws . Then it needs to be turned on in the computer. Very easy in jscan , or the dealer can turn it on. I'm not a mechanic but do work on cars a little this took me less than 10 mins .

I've used JSCAN on my JK, but not my Gladiator yet. Are you able to do it with just an OBD2 bluetooth adapter like older Jeeps, or does the Gladiator work differently? I ask because I've seen something about interfacing with the SGW for JSCAN, but haven't dug far into what you need for that yet. I know I can enable it with the Tazer Mini, but I'm thinking about unmarrying the Tazer and enabling it with JSCAN instead. The Tazer copies the current computer settings, then emulates them with your customizations. When you unplug it, the Jeep goes back to the same settings you had before plugging it in. Since I want to be able to remove the Tazer for service and warranty trips to the dealer, I'd like to still have options like LED lights and auto headlights turned on permanently in the computer itself.
You need a bypass cable to get around the SGW - security gateway which is like a network firewall.
With the bypass cable, BT adapter, JSCAN can make the changes.

Tazer is its own bypass.......
