I was wondering if it is possible to use the Mojave remote reservoir mounts on a non Mojave with Fox 2.5 Elite Reservoir front shocks. Anyone ever done this? I know people are going to say why, or this way is better, etc... I just want to know if the Stock Mojave mounts and brackets will work on a Sport with those shocks. I like the clean factory look and my Gladiator doesn't go off road. I was able to pick up a set of used rear 2.5 Elite reservoir shock at a good price, so now I will be getting a front set...

I think it's probably not an issue. The only thing I know for sure is the lower shock mount bolt on the Mojave is larger than the other models, so you'll have to drill out your shock mount tabs.

Not sure if there are any other issues with the shock itself.

I am not actually using Mojave Shocks. I am going to get the 2.5 Fox Elite shocks for the Sport. I was just thinking about using the OEM Mojave Reservoir mouts to mout the Reservoir sideways like it is on the Mojave.

Ahh, I misunderstood... Since you don't have a Rubicon (I think the Rubicon sway bar disconnect system interferes) I can't see that you would have too much trouble getting it to work.

I mounted my 2.5s on the side of the horns but the stock Mojave location should be just fine. You'll need to get the hardware of course but there should be no issues.

I just mounted some Mojave shocks on my rubicon. (Part of) The stock Mojave mounts fit just fine.
Are you sure the fox 2.5 have same size reservoir? I know the “2.5” part but might be slightly different; anyway, the reservoir mounts could probably adjust enough for a slight variation.
The Mojave brackets are two pieces, a horizontal part I believe goes between skid plate and frame horn; the vertical reservoir bracket can be used by itself with two m6-1.0 bolts, and at least on mine the nuts were already welded on back of the frame horn so I didn’t even have to source any nuts (the m6 bolts were provided with the takeoffs).
I didn’t want to unbolt my skid and have a janky fit, I just used the vertical brackets and seems perfect.

Awesome, thank you everyone for all the info.
Once I get the full lift on I will make a separate post with all the measurements and pictures.
