Hey guys

Officially 'in' with yall now. Walked out with my diesel from Folsum Jeep last night for $49k which I thought was a good price. Will be checking here frequently to see if there's any meet ups etc. I have family in bay area and kid in UC Santa Cruz so I'm usually driving all over the place (hence the diesel). Not a heavy off-roader yet but do lots of camping/fishing in Tahoe/Reno and Sac areas.

Here she is while I picked up dinner at "! Love Teriyak!". It's kinda base diesel Rubicon but with cold weather package and leather seating. For whatever reason, it came with the mud terrain tires instead of the AT (I prefer AT which I ran on my Ranger for 3 years and loved it).

It was either this or a High altitude diesel down in Gilroy (all loaded up with options) but I didnt have time to drive down there and frankly, prefer the rubicon look (especially the hood!) :).

Cheers!

Congrats!

I was just in your neck of the woods on Friday picking up a new bike for the wife. Elk Glove has grown so much since I was a kid raised in Carmichael. We used to raise hell out there because the was nothing in Elk Grove......The Laguna overpass was the exit to nowhere back then......

^ I know ...I moved here from San Bruno 20 years ago. When I moved here, my bay area families and friends were telling me that I'll move back in 5 years as its nothing but cow country and I'll be bored ...a) either by lack of people b) 110 degrees summer.

Fast forward to now and they all come over to Sac, stay at my 3500 sq house (which I bought for $320k 20 years ago and half paid off), and then they complain of bay area traffic, living expense, high cost of living. We have the new Sky River casino pretty much down the road from my house, new Sac Zoo construction happening in Elk Grove, and tons of breweries. And 2 hr day trips to SF or Lake Tahoe :). My low house payment basically means more mods for my Rubicon ..,lol!

C yall around hopefully in some meetups! Cheers!
