I haven’t contacted Jeep Cares. I honestly didn’t know what it was until I just googled it. The dealer hasn’t said anything yet because they haven’t gotten around to fixing it. I bought it used with 6K miles on it so maybe I am not covered by Jeep Cares? That looks bad. Have you contacted jeep cares? What is the dealer telling you?
And unfortunately probably why someone traded that in with only 6000 miles on it. You have no idea what that rig went through before you bought it.I haven’t contacted Jeep Cares. This ....ouch. I would do two things right away.I bought it used with 6K miles on it so maybe I am not covered by Jeep Cares?
There's too many threads like this just on this forum alone. Jeep has to take notice and do more than just care...actually do something about it.Thanks for the feedback everyone. I will keep you posted on the outcome. Certainly not an experience that makes me want to own a Jeep going forward. I love the Gladiator but it is pointless if I can drive it and have reliability.
I agree. This is crazy. Coincidentally I just got a notice in the mail today from Mopar Vehicle Protection about now being the best time to “extend your coverage” so I can continue “experiencing the versatility and go-anywhere capability” of my Gladiator. How Jeep handles this situation will permanently shape my perception of the brand. I simply want to experience the brand as advertised. Again, I love the looks and features of the vehicle but I am quickly loosing patience with this situation. There's too many threads like this just on this forum alone. Agreed. I reached out to them and got zero help with my ongoing problem. Terrible customer service. There's too many threads like this just on this forum alone. Jeep has to take notice and do more than just care...actually do something about it.
This....is why I tell my wife to NOT EVER buy a used Jeep to be used as a daily driver. A project, yes, absolutely...but you do pretty much roll the dice on getting one that wasn't beaten like a rented mule. And unfortunately probably why someone traded that in with only 6000 miles on it.
