Others may chine in on their own experience. But we 100% designed these to not do that. We spent a good amount of time and multiple revisions to achieve a step that was there for when you want it and virtually non-existent if you don't want to use it. The entire design from the ground up is to be both the most functional step, but also not be in the way at all, whatsoever, if you don't want to use it entering or exiting. There is not another add-on step that is as low profile.This may be a silly question, but if you have passengers that prefer not to use them, do they angle out too far where people are hitting their legs when they step directly into the truck or if they are stepping or sliding out?
