I normally try to keep my posts a tiny bit jeep related but I found this was a great way to describe the BACK ACHE I have had for a week now.

I was first going to say that her children will be fed for a good 30 years, but then I noticed the Photoshopper forgot to adjust the shadow to account for her massive tankers.

Not a bad PS job though...

Make sure you get your diminished value from them as mention prior. They owe you for an accident being on your vehicle record.
This I don’t understand.
What ever happened to ā€˜just fix it’? I mean just fix my truck. If I need a vehicle while it is down, provide me with one. There is no reason to over reach on a claim. That just costs us all more in the end. I mean it is called an accident. If it were intentional that’s different or even gross negligence. But an oh shit moment happens to us all at some point.
It’s that whole Golden Rule thing, treat others as you wish to be treated.
Damn I must be old.

When my vehicle isn’t worth as much at trade-in or sale because of an accident, why should I be out that amount instead of the person at fault?

Chuck,
I get that if you are leasing or looking to turn it in in a few years. If it is a long term keeper, then what’s the difference?
