I can only dream of being that hip.

The Sierra Nevada Brewing is only about an hour from me. I remember when they were just about the only IPA available (25 years ago). You were hip if you drank their beer. Now they are the Budweiser of IPAs. Although, they still make good beer. Just not hip.

Probably the last Jeep I'll ever own, too. I'm 66 and drive about 8000 miles per year.

In all likelihood, it'll out live me!
Same, same here. In fact I thought that was to be the OP’s message before I clicked on it.

Mine is 19 months old and just turn 5500 miles. It my out live me, also. It’s paid off the same month I retire. No major issues either.

I have not had a reliable Jeep since May 15th, 2021. I opened a case with customer care on June 28th, 2021. To this day, September 22nd, 2021, I have been able to speak with my case manager 3 times. I can get no answers to my questions and no response from anyone at Jeep.

@JeepCares
So what did @JeepCares say?

I'm a realist. Science, medical studies show I am likely to have a 13 to 20 year shorter life due to my situation. At 64, I know I likely don't have a lot of time.
I've already survived things that should have killed me. I've beaten the reaper multiple times.
I'm a realist. It's how it is.
Very sorry to hear for you and whatever your "situation" is. I plan to "...NOT go gently into that good night" ....but of course none of knows what awaits us.

My dad died at age my current age of 66 after 20 years of heart attacks and a couple minor strokes. But he had been a heavy smoker until age 45. Something I've never done, never even tried as most teenagers do. I'm glad because I think I have an addictive personality and if I had or had drank much I'd have been screwed - both grandfathers died of alcoholism. I take after my mother's side in many ways....but they have all died of cancer. What're 'ya gonna do? No one dies in perfect health! In the mean time? Living well is the best revenge.

What’s with all the hate on IPAs? Love them, all of them; doubles, triples, sours. I like everything though from IPAs to sours, stouts, ales, wheats, saison, lagers, kolsch.

I’ll drink just about anything unless you offer me a Coors Light and I’ll throw that right back at your forehead because that’s piss water.

I thought we could be friends, but now I'm not sure. Ipa's are just nasty. I feel like people drink them because they think they should like them not because they actually taste any good.

I am not in disagreement.

I read how IPAs came about. It's extra preservative. I have a friend who brewed his own for a while and said he doesn't mind IPAs, if they're made right. Most of the mass-produced ones are made with too much hops.

Me, I prefer Reds, Browns and a good Westmalle.

It's been the beer I judge all others by for almost 30 years.

It’s an acquired taste, one I developed probably before you could spell I. P. A. There are few beers I’ll reject, even Coors light. Then again, any beer with fruit in it really isn’t beer and exists only to allow people who don’t like beer to call themselves beer drinkers. That all started with limes in Corona, a reprehensible assault on an otherwise fine beer.

I love them. IPA’s to me are kind of like whiskey, as the other poster said it’s an acquired taste. I can respect if other people enjoy it even if it mostly tastes like rubbing alcohol. Either way, not everything sucks just because you don’t like it lol. What a boring world we would live in if we all liked the same things.

IPA desire definitely falls into the eating disorder category
