Since I'm running a little behind on the thread...
Places I've been... Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain, Ireland, France, Belgium, Holland, CZ, Italy, Slovenia, Poland, Bosnia, Croatia, Hungry, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran and some others I've forgotten.? When I lived in Europe and travelled a lot when I could, I got to ski in Austria a few different times and scuba diving. Croatia has some of the best dive sites I've seen. I had my Passport canceled when I arrived back in USA interesting souvenir ? Nothing like having your passport stamped cancelled then handed back to you and advised to get a new one.

They won't stamp your passport in Israel - some countries see that and give you crap or won't let you in, so they won't stamp it. Best you get is a little card (visa) with your picture that you need to keep on you at all times, especially when moving between certain areas there.
Canada didn't stamp mine but there are places you can go to request a stamp. My wife's been to many more places than I because she travels with one of her quilting friends and they are leaving again later this year for another tour of parts of Europe.
We're hitting Australia, New Zealand and likely other places next year. Luckily, my travels, limited as they've been, have been voluntary, not because I was told I needed to go there - or else.
