Three Mile Island. They shut down the remaining reactor because of political pressure. The TMI episode ruined the nuke industry. Since then. There have been 2 nuke plants built. but they never came in line. You want to see a good documentary on it. Watch Netflix's "Meltdown, Three Mile Island". It's a 4 part series.

We was worried as shit on this side of the state when TMI happened too.

Solar, Wind and Electric cars are neat but just not a solution and that is the danger.
No one is presenting an actual plan to deal with our little CO2 issue. We all know this. Some hide their heads in the sand and deny. Others propose solutions that demand huge sacrifices from working people and yet, will have no real impact on the problem.

This is a pet peeve of mine.
