I want to tell you that I greatly appreciate you. Thank you so much for putting up with all my questions but I finally got it done. I had to restart it in order for it to take it but I thank you again appreciate you, brother.

Curious, installed the parts as listed and turned on in jscan. The lights turn on/off with the vehicle, but are staying on while running during the day - assuming this is a sun sensor issue? I purchased 68230114ab, do I need the 68230115ab instead?

There's a setting for that...........

I had a problem with mine a while back only to find I'd set my sunglasses right on the sensor.

68230114AB is the correct part, and to confirm you installed the switch and followed the exact JSCAN steps?

Make sure your sunsensor is fully plugged in, it works on impedence so a disconnected or faulty sensor / wrong sensor will send the incorrect voltage data to the Body controller and force it to keep the lights on.

I had the same problem and in JScan I had to also activate the “twilight sensor/light sensor/tunnel sensor” feature. Once I activated this my light now come on and off automatically as expected.

JScan: adaptation/ auto headlights/ twilight sensor

Hope this works for you too :)

2023+ dropped the ambient light dimmer and that switch is the wrong one. Possible it could still work minus the ambient light dimmer, but that is a risk.

I bought the correct one 68542459AA through Ebay that was a salvage pull.

Need help. I have a 2025 Nighthawk and just got my Sun Sensor = 68230114AB and Headlight Switch = 68542459AA. I followed the JScan settings Adaptation -> Auto Headlamp & Auto High Beam - Settings -> Auto Headlamp Feature Present On/Off, - Target Value = Active and enabled the Modules -> Body Controller -> Configuration -> Headlamp on with wiper customer settings menu -> Set, and it isn't working. I don't see a setting on the head unit. I even enabled JScan: adaptation/ auto headlights/ twilight sensor, and still not working.
Under the Adaptation/Auto Headlamp & Auto High Beam-settings I see there are Auto HeadLamp OFF Threshold and On Threshold. I looked at those, but they only have Voltages as values, and I don't want to mess with them without knowing.
I have all the wires and everything, and I know this will work.

I did the upgrade last night. 25 nighthawk and it works perfect. Used the same parts as you have listed. After replacing the the parts I did have some related codes so I cleared them first, Then I only enabled the Auto headlamp to activate. You may want to check and make the sun senor connector is fully seated. Good Luck
