I have an issue with the rear fender (ripped off) on my JTM that I am hoping to get some guidance on.

I really prefer the OEM painted flares (hydro blue) that I currently have. I know the best deal will be to wait for something to pop-up locally, but I don't know if I can wait that long.

Does anyone know where you can purchase a single OEM rear fender, other than the dealer?

I know the fronts are different, but are the rear fenders different on the Mojave versus other Gladiator models?

Mojave and Rubicon are the same.

You can check somewhere like car-part.com you should be able to find one if you're patient.

How bad is the old one?

Pretty scraped up and I am assuming some broken attachments. Knowing that I will most likely be forced to paint one regardless, my other option was to see if this one could be repaired.

Just trying to weight the cost between the two (repair or buy new) versus waiting for the right one to pop up for sale.

Thanks, I will try that site.

Most of the time the only thing that breaks are the mounting clips. They are cheap to buy on amazon.

Keep an eye on the normal places, eBay, Marketplace or even here in the classified section.

For an idea on cost. I had to replace the pass. front fender on my JLUR in Mojito! green (BTW, insanely hard color to match). The new Mopar fender and painted was roughly $750. I installed it myself, the new one already had the new clips and LED turn signal/marker light installed on it. Took about 25 mins swap the fenders and liner out.

Since the rear fender is smaller, it should be cheaper.

ALSO, Mopar/Jeep does NOT sell them painted

Hope that helps you make a decision

Thanks, that does help give me an idea of what the rough cost would be if I go that route.

Jeep Gladiator OEM Rear Fender Help -- Where to Buy? 1692224794914

have you thought of upgrading to aftermarket?

Mines getting repaired at a body shop under an insurance claim but they didn't seem to have any trouble getting the fender. it was the sheet metal that took 3 months.

You can try this website, https://www.revemoto.com/ though I did not see Gladiator fenders, but might be worth a call. Problem is they are pricey. You can buy new ones that need to be painted. I have a quote from a local body shop to replace my front fender and paint it to match for $613 before tax. This is less than buying one already painted and installing it myself. I figure I'll save the $319 for the new fender and just have them repaint my scratched one, not sure why they replacing it. Not much faith in the body shop as they quoted me the wrong fender. That is the problem with the Mojave, things are unique and most places don't realize it. And if you look at the VIN it should make everything clear, but the problem is all the different fenders will fit on all the different trim levels. Thus, a non Jeep person can easily order the wrong parts because the Mojave is listed as that part fitting. I had the same problem with the axle. The basic axle says it fits a Mojave and it would, but it is not the correct axle for the VIN and it takes a Jeep person to get it right so be careful out there.

Good Luck!

Rubitrux.com has a lot of takeoff stuff. Might give them a call or look at the web site.

Thought I would provide an update on my fender situation after I finally got the nerve to inspect the damage.

I had forgot about the PPF that was on the fender which did an AMAZING job of protecting the paint. Very impressive stuff! Unfortunately, there were a couple of sections that weren't covered by the PPF. The inner splash-shield tabs were ripped out where they connect near the frame and again on the outside where it connects to the fender. With tabs also broken on the painted section, I determined that it wasn't able to be saved. At this point, I chose to touch up the painted portion of the fender and then do the rear fender "chop" where you separate the inner fender from the outer.

The replacement parts I have found for the 1 fender are in the $300 range, plus paint. I will wait for a little while and see if I can find one for sale before I choose to just buy a new fender.

Appreciate everyone's help and suggestions.
