Where did you get the mopar rails? the cheapest I have seen them is around $330
Amazon, I think. Can't remember the vendor. Would have to dig through my account. Price sounds right-ish. Aftermarket with shipping was about the same. For me to piece it together from unistrut and hardware store parts was still $200+. With all the other projects on my list, and needing to get several done in time for a trip, ordering a bolt-on solution worked best for me.

I’ve been debating this same thing.

The OEM ones are more expensive than builtrights but oem at least comes with some tie down anchors. Factor that in, and the price is pretty similar, Right?

There is a great thread on DYI Bedrail System at
https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/diy-bedrail-system.27640/

If you want a lot of very flexible tie downs, look at this post (#15 on page 1):

That aircraft style seat track is very flexible from a configuration of items you can attach. You can move the fittings that attach to the track in seconds. After the track is mounted, you can place as many fittings as you need, and they can be moved in 1" increments. The attached fittings are very strong. Working Load Limits over 1000 pounds, with assembly breaking strength at 4000 pounds or more. The fasteners you use to mount the rail to the bed will be the weak link.

Aside from our complete tie-down kit (https://macs.link/3iG4zQ4) we also have a number of fittings with various MBS to handle any size load (https://macs.link/35Apc8k).

If you want to use the Mac's tie-down system, there would need to be a minor adaptation to the bracket that connects the canopy to the bed of the Gladiator. Because it's a bigger profile, the adaptation would be to span from the bracket outward to reach our track.
Thank you for taking a look at it. I wound up buying the OEM trail rail as I didn't want any problems then had problems with All Cab dealer and won't be ordering cap.
